Shellharbour City Council last night unanimously voted to adopt a Smoke Free Policy at all sportsfields and playgrounds.

Shellharbour City Council is joining forces with Lake Illawarra Police to launch a major crackdown on the use of unregistered motorbikes on roads, suburban streets and parkland areas throughout the City.

Shellharbour City Council will join forces with Wollongong City and Kiama Councils, Bulli and Lake Illawarra PCYC, NSW Police and the Illawarra Road Safety Group to host the first ever combined Log Book Run for learner drivers.

13 November 2007 - BUSH REGENERATION WORKS FOR SEVEN SHELLHARBOUR CITY SITES
Seven sites throughout Shellharbour City are set to undergo extensive weed removal, re-vegetation, bush regeneration and bank stabilisation works thanks to a grant from the Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority (SRCMA).
