In the Bin Film Festival
Council is very excited to be able to present the 'In the Bin' film festival, which will be screening free of charge on Friday 12 February at Balckbutt Youth Centre, Cygnet Ave Shellharbour City Centre.
The program will consist of some of the best Australian and International short films crammed into one night’s entertainment. MORE...

Clean up Australia
Council is again calling on local residents to roll up their sleeves and dig for treasure as part of this year's Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday 7 March.
All volunteers who help clean up will be given the opportunity to enter the Clean Up Treasure Hunt on Reddall Reserve. All entries drawn will then be given time to try and locate and the $1,000 prize.
Volunteers can sign up for this fantastic cause by going to www.cleanup.org.au or calling 4221 6111. MORE

Seniors Week
Seniors Week will again encourage elderly residents to get out and about when it kicks off on Friday 19 March with the official launch at the Warilla Bowling Club.
With a host of activities and events to partake in Seniors Week 20010 will again provide local residents with the opportunity to discover fresh interests while meeting a range of new people.
With many of the favourite activities back including the Trivia Challenge, morning teas and fashion parades this year's program will also feature water wise gardening workshops, computer training programs and a host of historic tours.

Rates
Revaluations take place every three years and are used as the basis for setting the rates homeowners pay to Council.
The NSW has recently carried out a revaluation in Shellharbour City, as such all land owners in the area will shortly receive a Notice of Valuation from the Government's Land and Property Information section. MORE…..
