Shellharbour City Council meetings are held every third Tuesday, in the Function Room at Council’s Administration Centre, Ground Floor, Lamerton House, Lamerton Crescent, Shellharbour City Centre. (behind Stockland Shellharbour). Please note that as of February 2010, the meetings now commence at 3.00pm.
Business Papers for the Council Meeting will be available to inspect on this website, on the Friday before each meeting. Papers are also available at the Administration Centre and at libraries on the Friday before each meeting. Council's business hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Members of the public can register to address the Council as part of the meeting. If you wish to address Council about an issue in the Business Paper, you must register before 10:00am on the day of the meeting by calling us on 4221 6111. Please make sure you read the Shellharbour City Council Procedure for Registration and rules for Addresses to Council before the Council Meeting.
Anyone proposing to make a visual presentation to Council MUST advise staff when registering for an Address to Council and provide the presentation by 10.00am on the day of the Council Meeting. Requirements for making such a presentation are available at the link above.
Council now Webcasts its meetings held at Lamerton House every third Tuesday. Webcasting allows you to view proceedings from a PC without the need to attend the meeting. This gives the Shellharbour community greater access and participation in Council meetings and effectively eliminates geographic and other barriers that can prevent members of the public from attending Council meetings.
